When most people picture a farm like Hedgeapple Farm, they think of cattle in the pasture or fresh food in the farm store.

But some of the hardest workers here have wings.

For the first time in a long time, official dietary guidance is moving back toward what farmers and families have known for centuries: real food matters.

Many cattle operations feed grain at some point in their production, but not us. At Hedgeapple Farm, our cattle stay on pasture and eat grass for their entire lives, supporting their health, producing flavorful beef, and promoting regenerative practices that build soil and preserve ecosystems.
