Honey Butter Biscuits

Ingredients

For the biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed

  • ¾ cup milk

For the honey butter

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons raw honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  3. Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or fork until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Pour in the milk and stir gently until a soft dough forms.

  5. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle.

  6. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or glass and place on the baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
